Senior Geotechnical Engineer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, with over 6 years’ experience, to join this specialist geotechnical consultancy based in Hamilton.
You will be responsible for designing and managing several key projects in the region. You will gain both full project control, but you’ll also be accountable for all geotechnical foundation engineering design.
The role on offer?
This privately-owned business is well positioned in the market and has recently been awarded a number of significant projects. Projects are within the Waikato region and include road, bridge, deep excavation and housing.
The role is suited to an engineer with strong project and design capabilities - these project skills will include client and stakeholder management, the preparation of design and financial proposals, reviewing contract documentation and mentoring a geotechnical design team.
However, you’ll also be responsible for all geotechnical foundation engineering design. This will include geotechnical site investigation, design/construction monitoring, ground modelling, foundation and retaining wall design, earthwork and foundation design, settlement calculations.
